The spirit of diplomacy, debate, and leadership was alive and thriving at the North, East & Northeast India Inter-School Model United Nations 4.0, a prestigious platform that brought together brilliant young minds from across the region. Held in a hybrid format this year, the event served as a unique opportunity for students to step into the shoes of global leaders and address some of the world’s most pressing issues.
🌍 What is MUN?
Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students take on the roles of delegates from different countries. They research, debate, and propose solutions to real-world global problems while following the rules and procedures of the actual UN.

- Diverse Committees: Committees such as the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the Human Rights Council (UNHRC), and the Security Council were simulated, covering topics like climate change, global conflicts, and digital privacy.
- Youth Diplomacy in Action: Delegates engaged in powerful discussions, drafted resolutions, and practiced diplomacy — all while building confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills.
